Sultançiftlik – Edirne light rail system is 12.5 km as a double line. Bayrampasa and Gaziosmanpasa districts pass through the old Edirne asphalt, starting from Edirne, and reaching Masjid Salam. The project was presented to the people of Istanbul in September 2007 and aims to solve the increasing passenger demands and transportation problem on this route, which is one of the most crowded arteries of Istanbul, where commercial and social life is intense.
